In 2021 LBAN members invested in over 25 startups the amount of €8.3 Million euros in total, out of which, €4.4 Million was invested in Luxembourg. This brings us to 53% of investments made in Luxembourg, re-investing into local ecosystem, indicating the key role of LBAN in fueling the local startups.

Our investment geography varies from year to year. In 2021, our top three geography was Luxembourg, France and Estonia.
LBAN members usually opt for investment in a form of equity. However, we see quite some deals concluded in a form of convertible debt and SAFE.
In comparison to 2020, in 2021 LBAN investment amount increased by 25%, investments made in Luxembourg increased by 69%, while the average ticket size increased by around 60%.
