LBAN widens the investment scope for its members through a partnership with one of the leading European VC firms, Verve Ventures. Verve, with annual investments of EUR 60-70 mio in about 50 startups, belongs to the top 10% most active startup investors in Europe.
With this partnership, LBAN aims to widen investment opportunities for its Business Angels and make better introductions for LBAN portfolio startups into the VC scene. It also diversifies investment geography, sector and ticket size.
Due to its investment history, Verve can introduce LBAN members into a competitive financing rounds.
Previously, LBAN and Verve co-invested in one the LBAN portfolio startups, Salonkee, in a follow on round. Salonkee secured total of €6.2m for its Series A funding.
The official announcement of this partnership took place during our monthly pitching event, at this occasion hosted by Paul Wurth Incubator.
The Verve team was present at the event to introduce to LBAN members their investment structure.
