French Food Tech healthy-meal scale-up La Brigade de Véro has joined the family-owned food group Norac Foods, marking a major milestone in the company’s entrepreneurial journey and a rewarding exit for the business angels who believed in the project from its early days. This transaction allows LBDV access to industrial expertise, logistics capabilities, and scale, while maintaining its culinary DNA and leadership team.
Created in 2017, La Brigade de Véro began delivering freshly prepared weekly meals across France in 2018. Its concept, combining nutritional precision, fresh ingredients, seasonality, and taste, quickly resonated with consumers seeking a healthier relationship with food without the rigidity of traditional diet programs. The founding family, Véro and her son Arthur in particular, are proud to close the first chapter in La Brigade de Véro’s story.
“It’s been quite an adventure, with some partnerships and investors from all over Europe, including Luxembourg. With some of the BAs staying close to the founders and even working with some in the future.”
Since its inception, La Brigade de Véro has experienced years of exceptional growth. Today, La Brigade de Véro has won over more than 40,000 customers and employs around 100 people.

In 2021 and 2024, the company raised funding from French and Luxembourg business angels, enabling the construction of a production site in Montpellier and the expansion of activities.
The acquisition by Norac Foods now provides those angels with a tangible and rewarding exit. Romain Hoffmann, Head of LBAN Investment Committee, added:
“La Brigade de Véro is a typical investment which shows how early-stage funding from business angels combined with an outstanding team of founders can enable a business to expand on a large scale. We are engaging with companies very early on and build strong relationships with their founders”.
