Overview

The Luxembourg Business Angel Network (LBAN) is the leading network of private startup investors in Luxembourg. Since its creation, LBAN has played a central role in connecting entrepreneurs, investors, corporates, and ecosystem stakeholders to support the growth of innovative companies.

Today, LBAN brings together more than 200 business angels, entrepreneurs, executives, and investment professionals who collectively invest several million euros every year into startups in Luxembourg and across Europe. Through its investment community, events, training programs, and partnerships, LBAN actively contributes to the development of the Luxembourg startup ecosystem.

As Community Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management and coordination of LBAN's activities, events, communications, and member relations.

You will collaborate closely with an existing team member, as well as with LBAN's Board of Directors composed of experienced entrepreneurs, investors, and ecosystem leaders. Together, you will ensure the successful execution of LBAN's mission and activities.

This is a 12-month fixed-term contract based in Luxembourg to cover a maternity leave. A structured handover period will ensure a smooth transition and continuity of operations.


Key Responsibilities:

Member Relations

  • Manage the full lifecycle of LBAN individual members: onboarding, regular communication, engagement, and retention.

  • Act as the primary point of contact for members, ensuring a high level of satisfaction and engagement.

  • Ensure timely follow-up and collection of membership fees.


Ecosystem & Partner Relations

  • Maintain and nurture relationships with partners to ensure continuity and recurring collaboration year over year.

  • Coordinate with ecosystem stakeholders to support LBAN’s programs and events.


Event Management

  • Lead end-to-end event management, including planning, logistics, stakeholder coordination, participant communication, and post-event follow-up.

  • Coordinate the Angel Academy program: calendar planning, venue booking, participant communication, invoicing, and on-site support during sessions.


Marketing & Communications

  • Ensure consistent and up-to-date communication across LBAN’s website, LinkedIn, and other relevant platforms.

  • Coordinate content creation and publishing to maintain strong visibility and engagement within the community.


Operations & Governance Support

  • Manage internal operational processes, including CRM management, invoicing.

  • Ensure accurate data entry, reporting, and documentation.

  • Support bookkeeping activities in collaboration with the external accountant.

  • Provide operational support to the Board of Directors and the Annual General Assembly.


Profile & Skills

  • Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.

  • Excellent organizational and project management abilities.

  • Experience in community management, event coordination, partnerships, or ecosystem-related roles.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Interest in entrepreneurship, startups, or the investment ecosystem is a plus.

  • Proactive and autonomous, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

  • Comfortable taking ownership of projects while collaborating closely with team members and stakeholders.


Languages

  • Excellent command of English required.

  • French is considered a strong asset.

  • Any additional language (German, Luxembourgish, etc.) is a plus.

Practical Information

  • A structured handover period will be organized with the current Community Manager to ensure a smooth transition.
